FASNA is an Authoritative Resource for all Schools Considering Academy Status
We are all aware that there are a number of different organisations offering academy advice to schools and I know that FASNA members are the best placed to speak authoritatively on the subject and through the association provide the support schools will be looking for both during and after the conversion process. We welcome delegates from any school wanting to find out more about academy status.
Our Academy seminars are endorsed by the DfE and the DfE ‘regional project lead' will be present. The legal input will be provided by Stone King the firm of solicitors with whom FASNA works in partnership. Other sessions will be led by FASNA members.
Our seminars will give you:
- An understanding of the context of the seminar within the programme of FASNA support and professional development
- An understanding of the implications of the White Paper and the changing educational landscape
- The confidence to consider academy status within a supportive network of schools
- A good understanding of the legal requirements and legal framework relevant to academies.
